Tom Scarborough has over 21 years of information security management experience and is currently the Senior Director of the Extended Security Program for Fifth Third Bank. He’s responsible for managing all M&A activity from an information security perspective, the management and oversight of the Information Security programs established at Fifth Third’s Subsidiaries, as well Third Party Incident Management. Tom spent 13 years of his information security career at Fifth Third as the Senior Director of Cyber Defense, responsible for development and leadership of Threat Detection and Response, Threat Intelligence, Attack Surface Management, and Insider Threat.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ohio University, an MBA from Xavier University, and two certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified AML and Fraud Professional (CAFP).
