Tom Scarborough has over 20 years of information security management experience and is currently the Senior Director of the Extended Security Program for Fifth Third Bank. In this capacity, he is responsible for management and oversight of the Information Security programs established at Fifth Third’s Affiliates, Divisions, and Subsidiaries, as well as any managing M&A activity from an information security perspective.

Tom spent the previous 13 years of his security career as the Director of Cyber Defense, responsible for Threat Detection and Response, Threat Intelligence, Attack Surface Management, and Insider Threat.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ohio University and an MBA from Xavier University and also holds two certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified AML and Fraud Professional (CAFP).
