Account Requirements

We will need your full name, address, phone, date of birth, a primary form of identification, a US Taxpayer Identification Number (such as a social security number), and a military ID or DD214.

  • To apply online: You must be 18 years or older, have a social security number, and have a valid form of identification.
  • To apply in-person: You must have a valid form of identification. A non-resident alien (NRA) can open an account at a Fifth Third branch.
